Background & Purpose of the Job

‘Design 4 Channels’ is a new business model created with the strategic intent of driving channel shift into high growth / future fit spaces. This should accelerate our growth towards the +200 bps Y/Y ambition and ultimately become a competitive advantage for Unilever by 

  • better meeting the needs of shoppers and retailers in the winning demand spaces 

  • delivering market development where it matters to us and our customers 

  • and executing with expertise across channels.

  • pioneers a differentiated, future-fit PORTFOLIO for key channels

The Global Design for Channel Associate will work directly with Divisions and Markets to execute Design for Channel workstreams, driving impact through incremental growth. This role will drive immediate in year results as well as delivering pilots intended for global repeatable model development and roll out. The D4CA will leverage NRM, CMI and Category knowledge to ensure shopper insights feed into innovation development from the start of projects and support the whole Design for Channel team.

What You’ll Need To Succeed

  • Proven ability to manage projects, both in a traditional and agile way.

  • You can manage across multiple workstreams simultaneously.

  • You can work in a sometimes abstract environment, where we develop strategy whilst we learn and adapt.

  • Able to understand and translate both the Sales and Mktg P&L.

  • CCD (Customer Category Development) Experience strongly preferred.

  • Good business partner across all functional areas.

  • Highly numerate and analytical. Energetic and resilient. 

  • Bachelor degree required along with 2+ years’ work experience.
