Job Purpose

For Unilever we are searching for an employee engagement & communication specialist, with focus on internal projects related to “A Great Place to Work”. In this position you will be working closely together with the leadership team of the Weena Office and with Communications colleagues based at Weena.
 

At Unilever and Weena we have started the Hybrid Working journey. Organizing appealing engagement opportunities and connectedness among the approximately 1250 employees who work at the Weena office is at the core of this position.

 

Responsibilities

  • Developing (strategic) messaging of important and relevant developments, (work related) news regarding Weena. For 2022 an engaging / connectivity internal program is required to be set up, related to Hybrid Working and the business.
  • Developing a communication content calendar linked to the ambition and objectives of the Site Leader, Weena Leadership Forum and involve business related topics relevant to Ice Cream and Nutrition.
  • Owning, managing and monitoring the various communication channels (e.g. MS Team Channel, a newsletter, Town Hall Weena, Screens in the building etc.). Tapping into innovative ways of communication, together with the communications colleagues in Nutrition and Ice Cream.
  • Managing the budget of the “Great Place to Work program”, including communication budget.

 

Experience and Qualifications

We are looking for an Employee Engagement & Communication specialist, hands-on, creative and with good stakeholder skills. You are fluent in English and have at least 2 years of relevant experience in sort alike companies.

  • Highly motivated to get things done and pro-active in doing so
  • Eager to challenge the status quo.
  • Can handle demanding and multiple stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication skills and positive attitude
