BACKGROUND:
For the next step on its journey, Unilever Benelux is looking for 1 Exception Manager to join the Forecast Excellence Team (within the Operations team).

JOB SUMMARY
The Exception Manager is working close with the Forecast Excellence Officers, in order to manage all forecasting flows still happening outside the defined tools (TPM & ARO model) so that they can be translated correctly in the global forecasting tool.

In the meantime, they search & provide sustainable solutions to automatize or facilitate the conversion of those exceptions in value in the quarterly forecast. They work therefore closely with Customer Development (KAMS) and Finance to understand the exceptions, their impact on the business and their interactions with other flows.

They are also in charge of checking and balancing the promotion proposals made to customers (volume), using the data provided by the predictive tool as thresholds. They will aim to create thrust within CD and the wider organization.

They will create & use reports on input drivers / parameters for the promotions forecasted with the predictive model to drive input excellence within the sales organization.

They will also be in charge of the volume predictive meetings with Out of Home channel.

Such a role requires strong analytical skill and business understanding, as well as the ease to think in systems and processes. Strong interpersonal skills and a good sense of communication are important.

Key activities under your responsibilities are:
- Exceptions management
- Process & system improvement aiming to decrease as much as possible the number of exceptions
- Deliver clear & workable value forecast of the exceptions
- Provide key insights to the Forecast excellence officers regarding the managed exceptions

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

You report to the project manager S&OP.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Good business understanding
- Supply and/or Finance knowledge is advantage
- Ability to work fluidly with data and across systems that support the S&OP process (e.g. SAP, Visual Fabriq,..)
- Fluent in English and/or Dutch
