Job description

For Unilever we are searching for a FP&A assistant. It is a temporary fulltime position. In this position you will be supporting a specific category in performance management and the forecasting (S&OP) process.


Main responsibilities

Business Performance

  • Access, analyze and provide insights in consistency of P&L development across all measures, difference year-to-date versus year-to-go trends, profit versus investments, balance between customers and channels within a category.
  • Responsible for month end process and reporting internally and European reporting


S&OP

  • Provide challenge to S&OP process driving towards a high degree of alignment between volume and value and supporting the business with the identification of risks and opportunities
  • Responsible for S&OP value process, cash up and adjustments
  • Provide analysis and insights on forecast performance
  • S&OP Project management for effectiveness & efficiency

The ideal candidate

We are looking for an analyst experienced in performance management, hands-on, and with good communication and stakeholder skills. You are fluent in English and have at least 1 to 2 years experience in an FMCG . Experience in FMCG Business, and basis Dutch skills are a big plus.

  • Finance professional with solid experience of the Business Planning(forecasting) and S&OP process (Sales & Operations planning) and who understands Finances’s role within it.
  • Can handle demanding and multiple stakeholders
  • The role will cover financial forecasting from both a Market Sales Organisation and Supply Chain Finance perspective
  • Strong Analytical, planning and Excel skills
  • Bachelor / Msc degree in Finance / Accounting
  • Solution oriented
  • Highly motivated to get things done and pro-active in doing so
  • Structured and well organized
  • Able to work independently, yet at the same time being a prime example of a collaborator
  • Capable of prioritizing multiple tasks while looking for ways to improve processes
  • Flexible to adapt to changing processes and deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and positive attitude
