JOB SUMMARY

The Volume Forecast Assistant is playing a key role in the Forecast Excellence team within the Integrated Operations team. Annually we sell more than 1.3 billion consumer units to our customers. It is important we accurately forecast those units so the factory can produce the products accordingly.

To improve the forecast accuracy and efficiency a new tool (Demand Forecast Module, DFM) has been developed that uses historical sales data to predict future sales trends of customers per product. The Volume Forecast Assistant will be supporting the Volume forecast specialists in the deployment of the tool in which all the forecast units have to be checked in DFM. The Volume Forecast Assistant will be responsible for several product groups for which he/she will review the forecast generated by DFM and adjust the forecast and forecast parameters where needed. This will be done with cooperation with the forecast excellence team as well as with the Supply chain team.

WORKING FROM HOME

Due to the COVID-19 measures all Unilever employees are currently working from home and working together virtually.
