About the team:

Unilever's Global NRM team is the expert team in charge of building capability and integration of net revenue management across Unilever geographies and functions

Job Purpose:

  • Lead the development and deployment of NRM Design for Channel strategy development and deployment in top strategic channels and retailers (Carrefour, Tesco, Walmart, Target, Kroeger, Lidl & Aldi). Integrate NRM into priority channels and retailers and boost data driven account management across markets
  • Create category strategies and guidelines that optimize company revenue via brand price & pack architecture, managing portfolio and channel item mix, and refining promotion plan across channels/customers/regions
  • Analyze key business metrics (sales, share, volume, profit, etc.) to ensure category strategies and guidelines are delivering expected results. Adjust and refine plans as needed to maintain market performance
  • Participate as a member of the cross-functional category team, providing reports, analysis, insights, and recommendations on current and future business plans, to include new product launches
  • Assist in finding and developing channel/market opportunities
  • Partner with Category Development Managers to define current and future category growth drivers that will shape retailer and Unilever go-to-market strategies and plans.

 

Accountabilities

  • Designing the tailor made NRM capability for top strategic channels, creating and rolling out the NRM playbook for these channels in the top markets.
  • Leading NRM integration into P4G Program designing Retailer NRM framework for Carrefour, Tesco, Walmart and Kroeger. 
  • Championing NRM channel specific capability including channel specific strategy, data and analytics for priority channels.
  • Managing the deployment of retailer or channel centric NRM approaches in the markets and bringing measurable impact.
  • Partnering with the global channel teams to deliver the channel strategy and build customer collaboration platforms.
  • Manage a NRM budget to build playbooks and capabilities across NRM and CD communities, deployment of the channel centric NRM approach through Fractal HUB and design D4C tools/automation.
     

Performance KPIs:

  • Codify Retailer NRM approach into a Playbook, cascade and plan deployment for our top Retailers.
  • Manage deployment of Channel NRM covering at least 20 cells.
  • Create and design tailor made NRM approach for other priority channels.
  • Embed the approach into NRM Tools/Automation
  • Conduct NRM Trainings for CD communities, upscaling channel/retailer centric NRM capability.

  • NRM Global Leads and NRM leads in the markets.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE YOU SHOULD HAVE:

  • Experience in NRM and/or Key Account Management (preferably with mentioned priority channels or global retailers) with Data & Analytics experience/knowledge
  • Comfortable with Data & Analytics (able to design and analyze NRM analytics)
  • Experience in Customer Facing role and strong negotiation skills.
  • A strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Curiosity: A customer centric mindset 
  • Self-starter and able to drive progress in an ambiguous environment
  • Strong analytical skills and data savvy
  • Influencing and coaching skills – ability to work in cross-functional teams 
  • Strong results orientation.
  • Excellent communication skills and can articulate complex issues in an easy to understand way
  • Fluency in English
