BACKGROUND

In the Make Finance organization, the country Make Expertise Team (MET) will drive excellence and key expertise in activities needed to ensure financial control and support decision-making in the factories. This is a centralized team, working for all the sites in the country that is primarily responsible for controls, month-end accounting & reporting activities, support for business plan and decision support. They are strongly leveraging central resources (reports, SCFS, OC, IBM) and are interacting directly with Industrial Finance controllers, site operations and budget holders. They create synergies through efficient and aligned ways of managing the tasks through the different sites and are continuously improving processes in collaboration with the shared teams and Make capability finance. The MET is based in one of the country/cluster factories and reports to the local Industrial finance manager.
