Procurement Assistant – The Vegetarian Butcher

It is the purpose to help and support all procurement managers of the Vegetarian Butcher business. 

The Scope includes all portfolio’s of the vegetarian butcher

• Raw materials & Packaging
• 3PM & Repack

The candidate will be driving activities on a European scale with the aim to ensure the procurement function is operating effectively with a large emphasis on commercial support.

Key Accountabilities:

- Support to ensure business continuity by tracking closely via KPI's and participating into discussions regarding service levels of key suppliers (both RM and 3PM);

-Join innovation projects discussions with internal stakeholders (R&D, P&I, Planning) and ensure Procurement related activities are tracked and completed on time.

-Analytical and excel tasks for open book costing and negotiation preparation

-Keep close control of volume consumption of raw materials and finished goods

-Administrative tasks related to contracts

System updates / administrative

• Contract management tasks (I-CAT, CLM, SAP, COUPA, DCIW) 
• maintenance with price, volume and other commercial terms updates for RMPM, 3PM, re-pack 
• Solving technical issues on contract management level (kind of contract / procurement group) en connecting with European I-CAT team.
• Ensure CLM, SAP and COUPA is correctly maintained on vendor level 
• Contract signatory (Docu-sign) follow up
• Regular contact with internal & external stakeholders on contract updates or signatory requirements 

• USQS updates (ARAVO) 
• Ensure all suppliers of raw materials & packaging are compliant and escalate if needed to the relevant buyers
• Have regular contact with suppliers on updates  
• Follow up system updates and trainings

• Vendor management (Velocity) 
• Ensure existing suppliers are maintained in velocity tool (all portfolio’s)
• Ensure correct creation and follow up of new vendors (mainly NPI)
• Follow up system updates and trainings

Coordination  

• Keep close control of volume consumption of raw materials and finished
• Support to ensure business continuity by tracking closely via KPI's and participating into discussions regarding service levels of key suppliers (both RM and 3PM);

Buyer ‘tender’ support 

• Help with Price Forecasting  
• Gathering Market information
• Coordinate volumes from the business
• Analytical and excel tasks for negotiation preparation
• AMA / ASA follow up
