Job Profile – for ekaterra Project Blossom Data Workstream
Ekaterra, a division in Unilever, is the biggest Tea business in the globe. The business is present in more than 100 countries and generates revenue of more than 2Million Euro. The Blossom programme is a separation initiative which aims to establish ekaterra as a great company ready for continuing success. As pivotal part of the Blossom program the Data workstream team is making sure that ekaterra has a relevant, up-to data and lean data design and charged with transferring business data from Unilever to ekaterra. The team has to ensure that quality data fit for end-to-end business transactions is extracted, analyzed, validated and moved to new ekaterra platforms.
Main purpose of the job:
The Product Data Sr. Associate will oversee the product portfolio data preparation, collection and cleansing for end state ekaterra product portfolio.
A strong communicator with an SAP data or technical background the Data intensive role is able to:
Work with the business to collate data to a central point
Take charge of all other aspects of data preparation work
Engage with various regions to finalise product portfolio
Develop dashboards to monitor the cleansing progress
Integrate people and improve processes touching to Product Lifecycle and Material Master Data
Set data quality standards and work with others to ensure that data is ready for successful load.
Importance of the role:
The role is expected to be an experienced and highly motivated self-starter. They would be part of the ekaterra project Blossom data team to specifically manage data analysis, visualization, collection and cleansing. Having business data delivered on time to the right quality is vital to the success of the Blossom programme.
Key Accountabilities:
Ownership: Accountable for the overall product and material data – i.e., accuracy, completeness, consistency, validity, and uniqueness. Ensure the global solution fits to the local data requirements. Accountable for the process of gathering, combining, structuring and organizing data for use in applications, BI & Analytics. Coordinate activities on data profiling, cleansing, transformation, and harmonization with overall technology deployment and data migration timelines
Process & Strategy: Responsible for defining a catalogue of product data rules, principles, plan, processes, guidance, mechanisms & KPIs.
Team Connect: Engage with Data Stewards/Owners, System Integrator, IT Functions and other sub-streams of the wider data workstream as appropriate
Change Management: Effectively use the existing change management process for managing/process data quality rules. Plan, lead and take part in data collection and data cleansing initiatives.
Performance Management: Monitor and report data collection and data quality metrics (incl. Status, Progress, Risks & Issues) to Data Migration Lead and or other stakeholders as appropriate
