R&D Foods Pilot Plant Operator
MAIN JOB PURPOSE:
The Foods pilot plant in Wageningen has a strategic role to enable landing of Unilever products in the market by efficient application of existing and new processing technologies. The Pilot Plant is a part of GDC Processing. A pilot plant technologist will be responsible for operating the equipment and running trials, in close collaboration with the trial owners from the RDC/GDC and support potential trials from external companies.
JOB SUMMARY
- Discuss and agree trial set-up with trial owners (GDC/RDC)
- Preparation of equipment for trials;
- Coordination with logistics;
- Execution of the trials;
- Execution of basic analytical measurements;
- Cleaning of process equipment - CIP;
- Routine (preventive) maintenance;
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Trained operator, preferably Vapro-B
- Experience as in operator in Foods, preferably in an R&D environment.
- Fluent in English.
