Business Services Procurement Manager

This position is a part of the ekaterra indirect procurement team within the supply chain function. This is an exciting and dynamic role reporting to the Procurement Indirect Director. The candidate will manage multiple sub-portfolios, across categories, suppliers and stakeholders. The candidate will be involved in supporting transformation initiatives focusing on creating value through strategic sourcing and by complimenting business needs with leading edge best practices across a range of Business Services (BS) portfolios.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Strategically sourcing; IT software and Hardware, Development training, temp labor agencies, permanent recruitment agencies, Consultancies, outsourcing financial services, Travel, Real Estate, Lease car, Office supplies, outsourcing services.
• Leading the BS Team
• Establishing, building and maintaining strong relationships and with senior functional stakeholder and suppliers.
• Attend senior stakeholder and or procurement leadership meetings as the head of and representing BS.
• Ensure the BS team develop strong relationships and implements best practice sourcing with user communities across the ekaterra
• Lead BS team to develop Global Sourcing Business Services and IT best in class sourcing strategies
• Develop and execute ongoing stakeholder communications for the BS strategies
• Lead and project manage key strategic, transformation or innovation led sourcing projects
• Portfolio management including negotiation of global portfolio projects, future proofing BS portfolios by driving the implementation of digital solutions and technology enablers
• Ensuring excellence in BS procurement are delivered. Recurring stakeholder governance and communications, portfolio and sub-portfolio strategies, playbooks, best-practices etc. are all in place across all BS portfolios.
• Managing and developing the BS team capability.
• Responsibility for the setting of and delivery to all BS targets e.g. Cost, Cash
• Performance reporting to the Indirect and Procurement Leadership team.
• BS budget management and control
Stakeholder Management and key interfaces

INTERNAL
• Business Services & IT Functional Teams in region
• Best-Practice sharing with other Indirect procurement teams
• Procurement finance teams in region

EXTERNAL
• Local Preferred Suppliers in region, Global Suppliers locally based in region

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES
• Highly experienced in conceptualizing strategies and identifying and proposing strategic options and approaches.
• Significant experience in Business Services procurement.
• High degree of financial acumen e.g. Understanding of supplier cost models and lifetime cost of acquisition across BS portfolios
• Experience in leading high-value complex negotiations to win-win conclusions with senior stakeholders
• Astute preparation and approach to workload and people management
• Strong influencing skills to promote ideas and concepts back to senior stakeholders and budget holders

• A business partnering mentality, with a proven track record in partnering senior leaders
• Experience in leading joint and / or growth development supplier models
• Skilled at challenging and influencing business stakeholders and driving change
• Articulate communicator who can communicate succinctly and effectively in English language.
• Ability to demonstrate end – to -end thinking and a track record in creating innovative sourcing solutions and approaches
 

ESSENTIAL
• University degree
• 5 Years proven experience is strategic sourcing, experience in BS procurement
• Experience in setting KPI’s and contract management
• Experience in supplier relationship management
• Experience in managing global strategically complex portfolio/categories
• Experience in managing teams
